Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and stays at Simply The Choice Manor. By making a reservation and/or staying at our guesthouse, you agree to the following terms.

 

1. Reservations and Payments

  • Reservations can be made via our website, email, or through approved booking platforms.

  • A deposit or full prepayment may be required to confirm your booking. The amount and timing will be communicated at the time of reservation.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards and electronic transfers. Payment must be completed prior to or on arrival, unless otherwise arranged.

 

2. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in time: From 2:00 PM

  • Check-out time: By 10:00 AM

  • Early check-ins or late check-outs must be arranged in advance and may be subject to availability and additional charges.

 

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before arrival will incur a 50% charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival or no-shows will be charged in full.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 working days to the original payment method.

 

4. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Guests are expected to behave respectfully and considerately at all times.

  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the suites or common indoor areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided.

  • Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior arrangements are made with management.

 

5. Damages and Losses

  • Guests will be held responsible for any damage to the property or loss of furnishings caused during their stay.

  • An additional cleaning or repair fee may be charged if the suite is left in an unsatisfactory condition.

 

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • Simply The Choice Manor is not responsible for:

    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

    • Injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies that occur on the property.

  • Guests are encouraged to lock their rooms and store valuables in the provided safes.

 

7. Children and Extra Guests

  • Children are welcome, but parents/guardians are responsible for their safety at all times.

  • Some suites may accommodate additional guests on sleeper couches—please confirm availability when booking.

 

8. Self-Catering Facilities

  • All suites are equipped for self-catering and include necessary kitchen appliances, cookware, and utensils.

  • Guests are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen areas during their stay.

 

9. Pet Policy

  • Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, except for service animals with prior arrangement and relevant documentation.

 

10. Right of Admission Reserved

  • Management reserves the right to refuse admission or request a guest to vacate the premises if terms are violated or behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

 

11. Force Majeure

  • Simply The Choice Manor is not liable for disruptions or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, strikes, or government regulations.

 

12. Privacy and Data Use

  • Personal information is collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Your information will never be sold or shared without consent, except where required by law.
